About the play

In a story told through compelling snapshots, eleven kids are struggling with themselves and others in everyday life. Some have secrets, some tell lies, some fit in, others don’t. In these situations each character has his or her own way of coming to grips with things. In this original play the audience is offered insights into the children’s social concerns in regards to their peers and to themselves.

Meet the cast and the characters

Amy is sometimes shy and doesn’t like to talk about her mother’s wealth.

Annabelle is strong, smart and brave. She works constantly, helping her mother and dealing with her dad. All she wants is to lead a normal life.

Anthony is wealthy, smart, and hates being rich.

Chloe is shy and notices all the details in every situation. She has thousands of secrets, none of which she plans on ever telling anyone.

James is Leonard’s best friend. Very energetic and excited, he also enjoys watching TV and eating junk food. Although he doesn’t like to admit it, he’s very curious and observant.

Lenox isn’t living a dream, quite the opposite. Can she change who she is as things around her change too?

Leonard is a very pessimistic boy who enjoys doing equations with his friend James.

Selena is a friendly 13 year-old. She gets bad grades which makes her parents mad.

Skylar is pretty normal, or so she thinks…

Timmy cares about his friends but does not like to be lectured by them.

Wendy wants to be a singer like her mother was. She doesn’t have many friends and feels lonely sometimes.
