
Samuel Bally
Samuel Bally already begins to act in school while growing up in Pratteln. For several years he is a member of the amateur group “Laienbühne Pratteln”. He works as well for Telebasel’s Mash-TV – a program for teenagers, and performs regularly as a conferencier and entertainer.
Upon completing studies at the Fachhochschule für Pädagogik he graduates with a degree as an elementary school teacher. He also uses theatrical elements when teaching and directs and stages plays for schools. Among the acting groups in which he performs Bally also acts for the Förnbacher Theaterkompanie. Currenty, Samuel Bally also leads guided scenic tours of the historical museum in Basel.
A part of the Les Arts Scéniques ensemble since 2013 Samuel Bally plays ‘Greg’ In our production of Alan Ayckbourn’s “Relatively Speaking” and ‘Lomow’ in “Two Times Chekhov”.
Beginning his acting studies in depth at Les Arts Scéniques in 2017 Samuel Bally is now completing his fourth season in our intensive training, “Theaterjahr”. While accompanying our Junior ensemble in the school year 2019/2020 he has in addition now completed an internship in theater pedagogy. Samuel will join our teaching staff in September 2020 and teach his first acting class, “Schauspiel für Kinder“.
